Lingbao Secures Nearly 100 Million RMB in Angel+ Financing, Led by Lens Technology; Bipedal Humanoid Robots Enter Industrial Scenarios

On June 26, Beijing-based humanoid robot company Lingbao announced the completion of an Angel+ financing round totaling nearly 100 million RMB. The round was led by Lens Technology, with participation from Tianjin Jiayi and existing shareholders SDIC Chuanghe and Henan Assets.

The funds raised will primarily be used to accelerate product mass production, technological research and development iteration, and market expansion, thereby strengthening Lingbao's core competitive advantage of 'technological leadership + commercialization pioneering.'

Since its founding at the end of 2023, Lingbao has completed two rounds of financing. In February this year, it secured an angel investment round exceeding 100 million RMB, with investors including Lenovo Capital, SDIC Chuanghe, and Henan Asset Fund.

In terms of products, Lingbao focuses on developing general-purpose humanoid robots and Embodied AI products tailored for scenario implementation. Its core team comprises experts from top global universities and technology companies, boasting over 20 years of accumulated research experience in key fields such as intelligent robotics, precision assembly, visual servoing, and robot skill learning.

Lingbao's first bipedal humanoid robot, 'CASBOT 01,' was released last November. During this year's '618' shopping festival, the 'CASBOT 02' was launched and is now available for sale on JD.com, priced at 328,800 RMB. The product features 52 degrees of freedom and 550T of computing power, equipped with five-finger bionic dexterous hands capable of performing delicate operations such as industrial assembly.

Xiaomi AI Glasses Launched, Starting at ¥1,699 After National Subsidy

On June 26, Xiaomi held a new product launch event at the Capital International Convention Center, officially releasing its next-generation personal intelligent device—the Xiaomi AI Glasses.

The Xiaomi AI Glasses weigh only 40 g and come in three color options with two electrochromic lenses capable of changing color in just 0.2 seconds.

These glasses feature a unique dual-chip, dual-system architecture. For AI recognition and photography tasks, they utilize the Qualcomm Snapdragon AR1 chip, while low-power scenarios like music playback activate a dedicated low-power processor running on Xiaomi's self-developed Vela system, ensuring excellent battery life across different use cases. Paired with a 263 mAh Xiaomi Jinshajiang battery that employs the same high-density silicon-carbon anode technology found in Xiaomi smartphones, the glasses achieve up to 8.6 hours of typical usage time. Xiaomi officially claims that the battery life of the Xiaomi AI Glasses is nearly twice that of similar products.

In terms of photography capabilities, the Xiaomi AI Glasses are equipped with a 12-megapixel camera featuring a Sony IMX681 sensor and a 1G4P ultra-high-transmittance lens with an F2.2 aperture, supporting EIS (Electronic Image Stabilization) technology. To ensure user privacy, an LED privacy protection light illuminates during photo and video capture, maintaining proper social etiquette.

In terms of software, it features the built-in multimodal Super Xiao Ai, which can interpret and translate text captured by the glasses. OpenAI and Jony Ive's joint venture 'IO' sued for trademark infringement; plaintiff IYO claims funding hindered

IO, the company co-founded by OpenAI and former Apple Chief Design Officer Jony Ive, has recently become a defendant in a lawsuit filed by a US company named IYO. The complaint alleges that IYO believes IO has committed six acts, including trademark infringement and unfair competition.

Its product positioning is almost identical to IYO's, and its name even sounds similar (IO ≈ IYO). In fact, OpenAI and IYO had multiple contacts between 2022 and 2025, discussing technical details and financing information, and allowing the OpenAI team to trial the IYO product.

IYO considers OpenAI's registration of a similar name and development of a similar product, despite its awareness of IYO's trademark and products, as "intentional infringement."

Therefore, as the plaintiff, IYO claims that OpenAI and IO's actions have already caused market confusion, with investors mistakenly believing that IYO copied IO; after the announcement of 'IO', IYO's fundraising plans were hindered, and its sales and brand were damaged. 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games Reveals Second Batch of Rules, Adding Five New Events Including "Martial Arts" and "Free Combat"

Recently, the second batch of competition rules for the 2025 World Humanoid Robot Games was announced.

The second batch of competition content adds three main event categories, including two demonstration events — 'Martial Arts' and 'Inspired Moves', and one scenario event — 'Warehousing Center Scenario - Mixed Material Sorting Skills Competition'. Additionally, two peripheral events have been added: freestyle boxing and group dance.
