1. Unitree to Release New Quadruped Robot
On October 29, Unitree announced its upcoming new quadruped robot. According to the poster information, this quadruped robot focuses on industrial performance, with power output approximately twice that of the Go2, while maintaining a compact size.
The Go2 serves as a reference point and is Unitree's flagship quadruped robot product, starting at a price of 9,997 yuan. In terms of movement capabilities, the Go2 can perform various actions including jumping, stretching, walking upside down, adaptive rolling and standing up, obstacle climbing, and handshaking.
In terms of perception, the Go2 is equipped with Unitree's self-developed 4D LiDAR L1, featuring a 360° x 90° hemispherical ultra-wide-angle perception capability with a minimum detection distance as low as 0.05 meters, enabling all-terrain perception for the Go2.
It is worth mentioning that the product revenue structure announced by Unitree on September 2, 2024 shows: the revenue share of Unitree's quadruped robots was 65%, which is the main part of the company's revenue. And according to data from the Gao Gong Robotics Industry Research Institute, the annual sales of Unitree's quadruped robots reached twenty-three thousand seven hundred units in 2024.
2. 1X Home Robot NEO Available for Sale at 140,000 Yuan
On October 29, 1X officially released the NEO home humanoid robot, available in black, white, and gray color options. Priced at $20,000 (approximately RMB 142,000), it can also be acquired via a subscription model at $499 per month (approximately RMB 3,542), with deliveries scheduled for 2026.
In terms of basic specifications, the NEO robot stands approximately 167 cm tall and weighs about 30 kg. It features 22 degrees of freedom and is powered by the 1X NEO Cortex chipset based on the NVIDIA Jetson Thor architecture, offering a battery life of up to 4 hours.
Designed primarily for home use, the NEO robot prioritizes safety in its material selection. Its exterior features a soft knitted fabric design, while the body adopts a lightweight construction with fewer components, without compromising its performance in practical applications.
In actual use, users can issue household task instructions to the NEO via their smartphones and schedule specific start times. The robot will then execute chores such as sweeping floors and doing laundry according to the plan.
However, 1X notes that the NEO robot does not operate completely autonomously. For tasks it cannot perform independently, users can have remote 1X experts guide the process, effectively operating it remotely. This requires users to sacrifice some privacy; 1X explains that every action by a remote operator requires user permission, and users can designate restricted zones where remote operation of the NEO is prohibited.
In fact, these moves by 1X are about engaging early users in the co-construction of the robotics industry. As NEO robots collect data while entering homes, 1X can use this data to enhance the robots' capabilities. At the same time, this is also a helpless measure within the industry for deploying home-use humanoid robots given the current limitations in robot model capabilities; however, this deployment approach is indeed very novel.
3. Leju Plans A-Share IPO
On the CSRC website, it is shown that Leju Intelligent (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Leju Intelligent") completed its IPO counseling filing on October 30, 2025. The counseling institution is Orient Securities Co., Ltd., the law firm is Grandall Law Firm (Beijing), and the accounting firm is Tianjian Certified Public Accountants LLP.
Founded in 2016, Leju Intelligent is an embodied AI robotics company that has already launched several robot products. On October 28, Leju Robotics unveiled "Kuafu," China's first robot jointly developed with Huawei featuring the open-source OpenHarmony operating system. Powered by Huawei's Pangu Embodied AI Large Model 5.0, it achieves full-chain technological independence and controllability from the underlying operating system to the upper-level application framework.
In terms of listing progress, Leju Intelligent completed its shareholding reform in September, changing its name from "Leju (Shenzhen) Robot Technology Co., Ltd." to "Leju Intelligent (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd."
Thereafter, on October 22, the company completed a Pre-IPO financing round of nearly 1.5 billion yuan. The investment was jointly provided by Shenzhen Investment Holdings Capital, Shenzhen Longhua Capital, Qianhai Basic Investment, Shijingshan Industrial Fund, Dongfang Precision Industry, Tuopu Group, CITIC Jinshi, China Securities Investment, Daohe Long-term Investment, Shengyi Capital, Lianxin Capital, Probe Venture Capital, Hefei Industrial Investment, Jiuzhao Investment, and Sino-US Green Fund.
4. Dobot Secures Over 80.5 Million RMB in Embodied AI Robot Orders
On October 29, Dobot Robotics formally signed an embodied AI robot procurement contract with Rudefeng Precision Technology Co., Ltd. Rudefeng will procure products and solutions from Dobot totaling over 80.5 million RMB, including humanoid robots and embodied AI collaborative robots, deepening the integration and large-scale application of embodied AI robots in industrial scenarios such as high-end precision manufacturing.
In this series of introduced embodied AI robots, DJI's next-generation humanoid robot and embodied AI collaborative robot are primarily responsible for high-precision assembly on production lines, complex material handling, and flexible production line coordination. The two parties will jointly build a new energy intelligent manufacturing solution based on DJI's multi-form embodied AI robots, including 'humanoid + wheeled + multi-legged + robotic arm'.
DJI revealed that its commercialization process in the field of high-end manufacturing is accelerating continuously. Currently, multiple industry clients have entered into deep negotiations regarding humanoid robots, embodied AI collaborative robots, and related solutions. In the future, it will continue to enhance the mass production capabilities of embodied AI robots, including humanoid robots, to meet the rapidly growing market demand and customer orders.
