Songyan Dynamics Completes Hundreds of Millions in Funding, Delivers 105 Robots in July
On August 5, No.42 Wave learned that Songyan Dynamics has completed a Series A++ financing round amounting to hundreds of millions of yuan. This round was led by Jinpu Investment, with participation from well-known institutions including BAIC Capital, CICC Capital, Jinko Solar, Yunhui Capital, Youshan Capital, Zhuoyuan Asia, and Yuanzhi Future. It is reported that the company is also preparing for its next round of financing.
According to Tianyancha information, prior to this, Songyan Dynamics had already completed five rounds of financing.
In March 2025, Songyan Dynamics completed two consecutive rounds of financing, Series A and Series A+, each exceeding 100 million yuan. The Series A+ round was led by Binfu Capital, with Huaqiang Capital participating as a co-investor. Investors in the Series A round included Shenqi Capital, Beijing Future Science City Fund, Tianqi Capital, Zerun Capital, and strategic parties such as Education Technology Group.
In June 2024, Songyan Dynamics received Pre-A round financing invested by the Beijing Robot Industry Investment Fund and some previous investors.
In March 2024, Songyan Dynamics obtained angel round financing invested by GSR Ventures, Xiaomiao Langcheng, Jiuhai Venture Capital, Qingzhi Capital, and some previous investors.
In November 2023, Songyan Dynamics received seed round financing invested by Inno Angel Fund, Infinity Fund, Qixi Investment, Qinghui Investment, Lingyi Venture Capital, and Tsinghua Alumni Fund.
Founded in September 2023, Songyan Dynamics' core founding team comes from prestigious domestic and international universities such as Tsinghua University and Zhejiang University. Founder Jiang Zheyuan, born in 1998, graduated from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Tsinghua University. In 2023, while in his third year of doctoral studies, Jiang dropped out to start a business, entering the humanoid robot track. Notably, Songyan Dynamics' 'Xiao Wantong' humanoid robot won the runner-up position in the humanoid robot half-marathon held in April this year.
Product-wise, Songyan Dynamics offers the home embodied AI robot "E1", the high-dynamic humanoid robot "N2", and the biomimetic facial device "Hobbs".
Data disclosed on August 1 reveals that in July, Songyan Dynamics delivered 105 mass-produced humanoid robots.
Of these, 92 were N2 humanoid robots and 13 were E1 humanoid robots, representing a month-on-month growth of 176% and setting a new record for mass production and delivery since the company's inception.
Furthermore, Songyan Dynamics secured commercial orders exceeding 2,000 units in the first half of this year, with total contract values expected to surpass 100 million yuan.
In terms of technology, addressing industry concerns regarding data, Jiang Zheyuan stated that current datasets for embodied AI are far from large enough. The foundation for generalized applications in embodied AI lies in super-diverse data. Collecting data in real, diverse environments (such as homes and hotels) is crucial for achieving truly general-purpose embodied AI.
Only robots that have "seen the world" in un-enumerable real-world scenarios can truly possess generalization capabilities. To put this philosophy into practice, Jiang Zheyuan revealed that Songyan Dynamics has been quietly laying the groundwork.
